Andreas Lumineau (born in 1992) is a Swiss-French artist living and working between Paris and Zurich. His practice reflects on architectural structures, interiors, and landscapes. During his daily routines, he captures images as a medium to suspend the narrative or break its linearity. Emphasizing serial composition, he allows the viewer to observe the interfaces between multiple settings. The light-dark contrasts and omissions in his works dissolve the sense of depth and space. Figures seem to emerge from the shadows, weaving together personal and socio-political themes.
